The Story

It all started when our founder, Gerane Kerr, was 8 years old. She loved going to Dodger games with her dad (and 11 brothers and sisters!). During one game, while eating a Dodger Dog, she looked at her dad and said, "I'm going to own my own hot dog stand one day!" Without missing a beat he replied, "If you can dream it, you can do it." She saw how food brought people together and helped form community. The only problem was that when summer was over, so were the hot dog stands. She knew she wanted a hot dog truck and she wanted it available all year long!

As her dream came to life, Armant’s Hot Diggity Dog opened as a catering business in January 2009 in Lake Jackson, TX! Hot Diggity Dog is based in Brazoria County but caters events all over the Greater Houston area (from Conroe to Lake Jackson to be exact!). We truly believe food unites communities and encourages rich conversation. With over 20 customizable options and a portable drive-in movie screen your next event is sure to be a hit!
